I Hate Malls

Traffic is fucking insane!!! Grrrrrr!!! It took me 45 minutes to get from work to the mall (normally a 15 minute trip). AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! But once I got to the mall, it wasn't bad. Oh, and the whole mall thing...I hate it (not just this particular mall, but all malls). I used to work at this mall from 1996-1998 and have been back there rarely since. When was the last time I was there? Maybe 2 years ago, when my mom made us get family pictures at Sears. Anyway, the place has sooo fucking changed. Except, Bath & Body Works (my ex-employer) is still in the same place and has managed to attract other "smell good" stores to gather around it (among them Crabtree & Evelyn and Yankee Candle); what a strange phenomenon!!! So, anyway, I was able to run in & get something for Nikki & Michael. It was quick & easy, except for the fact that the guy who rang up my purchase was so rude and young (maybe 20? 21?). Hooligan!!!
Now that I'm ranting about the mall, let me tell you about the evil that is Arundel Mills Mall. Two years ago, the megamall for this area (central Maryland?) opened. I checked it out once then and I went once again this past summer for dinner with my mother. Well, I hate this place! It's such a testament to the insane consumerism that is America! It's gargantuan! It's a behemoth! Plus, I drive by it every time I go back & forth from my house & Greg's house. And there is so much traffic moseying from the mall onto the highway. Yes, I said moseying...they merge so slowly and clog up the highway that I normally enjoy at 80 miles per hour.
OK, now I'm at Greg's and I have an urge to cuddle...
