Tea and Honey

8:55 p.m.

I sound so crappy that people feel bad for me. They give me cough drops (since that's about all I can take) and tell me to go home. In fact, this morning, I was in The Boss' office and she was like, "Go home. Get out of here!" Um, OK!

Last night, I bought another carpal tunnel thing, this one made by Ace. It's one of those that straps up and everything. I wore it last night while I slept and my hand felt so good this morning. I have to wear it while I'm working on the computer, too, which is a little challenging. I keep hitting the little windows button and opening the fucking menu or else some other weird program.

I also bought some vapo-rub (well, more specifically, "Chest Rub", since it was store brand). Greg slathered it on me before bed and I slept quite well for a couple of hours. Until I woke up and he said my vapo-rub was getting him high (heeheehee) and my snores were so horrible, they sounded like trumpets. Trumpets!

When I woke up at 3 AM, he was sleeping in Star's bed, so it must have been pretty bad!

I'm almost out of my favorite orange blossom honey. As a side note, did you know bees make different flavors of honey based upon what plants they feed from? The honey everyone is accostomed to in the stores is clover honey. So the bees are gathering nectar from the clover plant. My favorite one, which is really sweet, is Orange Blossom honey. Bees gather nectar from the orange blossom flower. It's so perfect in my raspberry herbal tea. I need to get some more of that, too. We got our honey at renfest from The Bee Folks. I think we tried every single flavor they have. The blueberry honey was very interesting; it had such an interesting and very blueberry-ish taste. Maybe I should order some more online? I wonder what kind of honey our grocery store carries? OK, enough about the honey. Dammit, I've been thinking about tea & honey so much, I need to go boil some water...

Alright, now that I've got the water going, what else has been going on?

Yesterday evening, we took Star to Arundel Mills mall, which is a huge disgusting mall in our area...it's such a testament to consumerism. Don't get me wrong...I'm all about capitalism and the American way, I just don't like the over-consumerism going on. So, Star, of course, LOVED it!!! She thought it was just about the best place she had ever been. Greeeeeeeat.

Oh, now my water is boiling. I shall go enjoy my tea!
